England wins the third T20 cricket match against India by 17 runs

Kathmandu: England have won the last and third T20 cricket match against India by 17 runs.

Following England’s target of 216 runs in last night’s match, India lost 9 wickets in 20 overs and managed to score only 198 runs.

Surya Kumar Yadav top-scored for India with 117 runs.

Similarly, Shreyas Air scored 28, captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli scored 11/11. England’s Richie Topley took three wickets, David Wiley and Chris Jordan two wickets each, while Richard Gleason and Moin Ali took one wicket each.

Earlier, batting first, England lost 7 wickets in 20 overs and scored 215 runs. David Malone played a half-century innings of 77 for England.

Liam Livingstone scored 42, Jason Roy 27, Harry Brooke 19 and captain Jose Butler 18.

India’s Harsal Patel and Ravi Vishnoi took 2/2 and Abhes Khan and Umran Malik took one wicket each.

Despite winning last night’s game, England have lost the three-match T20 series 2-1.
