AFC U20 Asian Cup 2024: Final squad announced for qualifiers

Kathmandu: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced the final squad for the AFC women’s U-20 Asian Cup 2024 qualifiers.

Chief coach Yam Prasad Gurung has announced the final team of 23 members from 25 people who are in closed training for the qualifying match to be held in Palestine. Pooja Thapa and Sajni Thokar were not included in the final team.

Among the members of the SAFF team, Sajni Thokar and Anjali Chand along with Kusum Khatiwada could not make it to the AFC team due to injuries.

Hima Rawat, Jennifer Rana and Sadipa Bholan, who were not in the SAFF team, have managed to make it to the team.

Nepal has been placed in Group ‘B’ of the qualifiers along with host Palestine, Northern Mariana Islands and UAE.

Gurung also coached the team in the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship in Bangladesh.
