Kathmandu: The current president Karma Chhiring Sherpa of the ANFA has announced his candidacy for the upcoming election.
During a function at the Royal Banquet in Tinkune on Monday, Karma Chhiring announced his candidacy along with PAN.
Karma has announced his candidature with the slogan ‘Continuous change, economic empowerment and professionalism is our campaign for the institutional development of Nepali football’.
The panel of Karma Chhiring Sherpa has Parajuli as senior vice president, Dirgha Bahadur KC (Kumar) as vice president, Ratna Kumar Shrestha as vice president and Upendraman Singh as vice president.
Among the members are Deepak Thapa, president of Friends Club, Pravin Yadav of Siraha, Rupesh Adhikari of Sanga Club, Lokendra Gurung of Lamjung, former president of Baglung, Tikaram Lama of Makwanpur, Pradesh Singh Rathore of Banke, Bharat Budhathapa of Jumla, Anil Shrestha, vice president of Machindra Club and Ramesh Vyanjankar, president of Castle Club. Khumaltar Maniraj Bista and Manish Joshi of Tokha Club.
Earlier, the current senior vice president Pankaj Nemwang had registered his nomination for the post from the dissident group.
The 21st general election meeting of ANFA will be held on June 20.
