Kathmandu: Nepal national football team has started training. According to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the training has been started from Sunday after some players contracted corona.
The training has been held at ANFA Complex, Satdobato. Initially, the corona reports of 11 players were positive in the training conducted on Wednesday, but in the re-test on Friday, their reports were negative.
Head coach Abdullah Almutairi has started training targeting the upcoming SAAF Championship. The training will also focus on the final selection for the AFC Asian Cup, which starts in February next year.
Almutairi has invited 50 players to the camp. 50 players will be divided into two groups for morning and evening training. Almutairi will be assisted by assistant coach Kiran Shrestha and goalkeeping coach Vikas Malla.
