Barcelona are held to a 1-1 draw against German club Eintraat Frankfurt
Kathmandu: Spanish club Barcelona drew 1-1 with German club Eintraat Frankfurt in the first leg of the Europa League quarterfinals.
Ferran Torres equalized for Barcelona in the second half. At home, Frankfoot took the lead early in the second half. Ansger Knopf scored in the 48th minute to give Frankfurt the lead.
But the lead did not last long and Torres scored for Barcelona in the 66th minute.
Frankfurt were reduced to 10 men after Tuta received a red card in the 78th minute.
The second leg between Barcelona and Frankfurt will now take place on April 15 at Barcelona.
In other first leg matches, German club RB Leipzig and Italian club Atlanta and English club West Ham and French club Lyon have drawn 1-1. Similarly, Braga defeated Rangers 1-0.
