After the Group B and Group C games on Monday night, the Swiss team also crossed the group stage.
Switzerland had added 4 points in Group A.
Ukraine, who finished third in Group B, and Finland, who finished third in Group C, have just three points, leaving Switzerland in the last 16.
The best 4 out of 6 teams including the group winner and runner-up in the 24-team Euro will also reach the knockout round.
