Holland scores 5 goals, Manchester City defeated RB Leipzig 7-0

Kathmandu: English club Manchester City has entered the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League. In the second leg of the pre-quarterfinals, City reached the last eight with a wide margin of 7-0 victory over German club RB Leipzig and 8-1 overall.

Earlier, the first leg match ended in a 1-1 draw. City’s forward Erling Haaland scored 5 goals with a record hat-trick in the second leg last night at Etihad. Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin Di Bruena also scored one goal each.

Holland, who scored five goals, became the fastest and youngest player to score 30 goals in the Champions League. He also became the youngest player to score 5 goals in a single match in the Champions League.

Earlier, Lionel Messi of Argentina and Luis Adriano of Brazil held the record of scoring five goals in one game. Haaland also became the only player from City to score 39 goals in one season.
