Kathmandu – India beat England by 100 runs in the ICC One Day Cricket World Cup. Chasing the target of 230 runs given by India in the match that ended last night in Lucknow, England scored 129 runs in 5 balls in 34 overs and was bowled out.

Liam Livingstone scored 27 runs for England. Similarly, David Willey and David Malan scored 16/16 runs respectively, while Moeen Ali added 15 runs and Jonny Baristo added 14 runs. For India, Mohammad Shami took four wickets and Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets.
Similarly, Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets and Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket. Before that, India lost the toss and scored 229 runs losing nine wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
Captain Rohit Sharma scored the highest half-century of 87 runs for India. Suryakumar Yadav scored 49, KL Rahul 39 and Jasprit Bumrah scored 16 runs.
England’s David Willey took three wickets. Similarly, Chris Woakes and Adil Rashid took two wickets each while Mark Wood took one wicket. With the win, India has added 12 points.
India, who are unbeaten in the matches so far, are at the top position with 12 points from 6 matches. South Africa is in second place with 10 points. England is at the bottom with 2 points from 6 matches.
