Kathmandu: Pakistan has defeated India by 5 wickets in the Super Four match of the Asia Cup Cricket.
Chasing the target of 182 runs given by India in last night’s match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Pakistan lost 5 wickets in 19 overs and 5 balls.
Mohammad Rizwan played a half-century of 71 runs for Pakistan.
Similarly, Mohammad Nawaz scored 42 runs, Ashif Ali scored 16 runs, Faqar Zaman scored 15 runs and captain Babar Azam and Khusdil Shah scored 14 runs.
India’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashradeep Singh, Ravi Bosnoi, Hardik Panday and Yuzvendra Chahal took 1 wicket each.
Before that, India lost the toss and batted first and scored 181 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Virat Kohli scored a half-century of 60 runs for India. Similarly, captain Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul scored the same 28/28 runs.
Deepak Hoda scored 16 runs, Rishav Pant scored 14 runs and Suryakumar Yadav scored 13 runs.
Pakistan’s Shadav Khan took 2 wickets while Naseem Shah, Mohammad Hassanen, Haris Rauf and Mohammad Nawaz took 1 wicket each.
With the win, Pakistan has added 2 points in the Super Four.
