Nepal playing the 1st ODI cricket match against Canada today

Kathmandu: Nepal is going to play the 1st ODI cricket match against Canada today. The game will start at 8:55 pm in The King City of Canada.

The match will be under the captaincy of Sandeep Lamichhane, Nepal will play a 2nd match ODI series against Canada today and tomorrow.

Canada announced a 14-member squad under the captaincy of Saad bin Jafar. Earlier, the Nepali team arrived in Canada and played two practice matches with local club Ontario.

Nepal had defeated Ontario by 55 runs in the T20 practice match and 69 runs in the ODI practice match.

Nepal will go to Scotland after two ODIs in Canada. Nepal will play a tri-nation one-day series under the World Cup League-2 in Scotland. Nepal will play Namibia on July 12 and 13 and Scotland on July 12 and 13.

In the points table, Nepal is in the fifth position with 15 points with 7 wins, 8 losses and one draw in 16 games.
