Kathmandu: Departmental team Nepal Police Club has won the title of Bagmati Pradesh New Diamond Cup Open Women’s National Volleyball Tournament.

In the final held at Multi Projects Covered Hall in Kirtipur today, another departmental team defeated APF Club 3-0 in a straight set to become the Police Champion.

Police beat APF 25-16, 27-25 and 25-19. Police remained undefeated and became the champion. Along with the title, the police have received Rs 500,000 in cash.

The runner-up APF paid Rs 250,000. Similarly, New Diamond, which came third, received 125,000 cash prizes and Adarsh ​​Mavli, which came fourth, received 75,000 cash prizes.

Four teams including New Diamond, APF Club, Police Club and Paropkar Adarsh ​​High School participated in the competition.
