Kathmandu: Nepal has reached the final of the Football Championship. In today’s match, Nepal reached the final for the first time by drawing one-on-one with Bangladesh.

Nepal reached the final for the first time in the history after the one-on-one match played at the National Stadium in Male on Wednesday. At the same time, Nepal has broken the 28-year wait. Nepal reached the final for the first time in the 13th edition of the SAAF Championship which started in 1993.

Bangladesh, who lost today, are out of the tournament with five points from four games. Now, Nepal will play the winner of the next match (India and Maldives) in the final today.

The record of playing many games for Nepal is in the name of captain and goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong. He has played 78 games.
