Nepal vs Maldives: Nepal leads 2-0 in the first half of the match

Kathmandu – Nepal has beaten Maldives a 1-0 at Dashrath Stadium, Tripureshwar in SAFF Championship Football Under 19 today.

Manish Gangi scored in the 86th minute of the match with the best assist of Bishal Rai and Nepal managed to reach the semi-finals of the tournament. After losing to Pakistan in the first match before this, Nepal’s situation was critical. Pakistan entered the semi-finals with 4 points from two matches after drawing 1-1 with Maldives in the second match.

Pakistan is on top in Group ‘A’. Maldives is in second place with one point. If Nepal wins today then it will reach the semi-finals, whereas if the match is tied then Maldives will reach the semi-finals.

Group ‘A’ consists of Nepal, Pakistan and Maldives. Similarly, a match is being held today between India and Bhutan in Group ‘B’. This match will be played at 5:30 pm. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
