UEFA Nations League: Portugal beats the Czech Republic 4-0

Kathmandu: Portugal won the UEFA Nations League. In last night’s group stage match, Portugal defeated the Czech Republic with 4-0 goals.

Diego Dalot scored two goals in Portugal’s victory. Bruno Fernandez and Diego Jota scored one goal each. With the win, Portugal has climbed to the top of League ‘A’ Group 2. Portugal has 10 points in 5 games. The Czech Republic is at the bottom with 4 points.

Spain has 8 points and Switzerland has 6 points. In the next match in this group, Switzerland defeated Spain 2-1. With Portugal’s win and Spain’s loss, the race for play-offs and relegation from League ‘A’ group two has become exciting.

Similarly, Serbia defeated Sweden in UEFA Nations League football. Serbia pulled off a 4-1 comeback win over Sweden. In the 15th minute of last night’s match, Sweden took the lead with the goal of Victor Alison. However, Sweden failed to maintain that lead and ended up being defeated.

Serbia’s Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a hat trick. Similarly, Sasa Lukic scored one more goal. With this win, Serbia is in second place in League ‘B’ Group 4 with 10 points. Even though there are 10 points, Norway is at the top.

Defeated Sweden is at the bottom with 3 points while Slovenia has 5 points. Despite Erling Braut Haaland’s goal, Norway lost to Slovenia. Norway’s home team lost 2-1 to Slovenia. In other matches, Northern Ireland defeated Kosovo, Scotland defeated Ireland and Israel defeated Albania by the same score of 2-1. Similarly, Cyprus beat Greece by 1-0 goals.
