Serbia’s Djokovic and Britain’s Nuri enters semifinals of the Wimbledon

Kathmandu: Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Britain’s Cameron Nuri have reached the semifinals of Wimbledon.

Djokovic reached the semifinals after beating Italy’s Yannick Siner 3-2 in the quarterfinals.

Djokovic lost the first two sets of the game against Sinar 5-7, 2-6. But Djokovic advanced to the semifinals, winning the next three sets 6-3, 6-2, 6-2.

In the semi-finals, Djokovic will face British player Cameron Nuri. In the quarterfinals, Nouri defeated David Goffin of Belgium 3-6, 7-5, 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 to reach the semifinals.

Similarly, Germany’s Tatiana Maria and Tunisia’s Ons Jabiur have reached the semifinals. Germany’s Maria defeated her compatriot Yuli Nimier 2-1 in the quarterfinals.

In the process of becoming the first Arab player to reach the Wimbledon semifinals, Tunisia’s Zabiur defeated Czech Republic’s Meri Buzkova 3-6, 6-1, 6-1.
