Kathmandu: Ten players, including Bharat Khawas, have dropped out of the closed training of the national men’s football team.
Out of the 38 players in the closed training of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), head coach Abdullah Almutairi has selected 28 players in the second phase.
Bishal Sunar, Randeep Poudel, Bharat Khawas, George Prince Karki, Rajiv Lopchan, Sanjog Rai, Tridev Gurung, Rajin Dhimal, Sesehang Andembe and Bikram Lama are out of the training.
The Nepali team is currently training in Paekhara. Nepal is playing a friendly match against India at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor on September 3 and 4 (September 2 and 5).
The SAAF Championship will be held in Maldives from October 1 to 13.
