Ajit, who won gold in the 3,000m at the 2019 Asian Youth Athletics Championships in Hong Kong, has been selected for the World U-20 Championships.

Ajit, who won a historic gold medal at the Asian level after 45 years, lost his 13th green due to health problems even though he aimed to perform better in the 13th green in Nepal in December, 2076 BS. However, he did not give up and returned to track after his health improved.

He then proved himself fit by winning gold in various medium distance races. He ran 1,500 meters in the Federation Cup in India two weeks ago.
