APF defeats Army in ANFA Women’s Football League

Kathmandu – The top-ranked Armed Police Force (APF) Club defeated the second-placed Tribhuvan Army Club in the ANFA Women’s League today.

APF defeated Army 3-1 in the final match played at the ANFA Complex Ground in Satdobato. Undefeated APF is at the top with 12 points from four matches in the final round, while Army, which has won two matches and drawn one, is in second place with seven points.

Another departmental team, Nepal Police Club, is in third place in the table. Bagmati Youth Club is in fourth place and Waling Municipality, which has no points, is at the bottom. The five teams participating in the final round will play each other twice. After that, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs.
