Central Election of Nepal Cricket Association in October

Kathmandu: The Central Election of Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) will be held in October.

The board meeting held on Friday finalized the election schedule. The meeting has fixed the date of district, state and central election sessions.

According to which, the convention will be held in the districts under CAN before the middle of July.

Similarly, the convention of all seven provinces will be held within August 10. The central session is scheduled for 5th and 6th of October.

The meeting has given responsibility to the district associations to distribute the membership by July 10th.

CAN has also decided to form a 2-member committee under the coordination of legal advisor Rochak Regmi to monitor district and state elections.

Similarly, the meeting has decided to give the responsibility of the central classification of national male and female cricket players for the remaining six months of 2023 to three people.

For that, CAN has decided to form a 3-member committee comprising cricket manager Vinod Kumar Das and selection committee coordinator Dipendra Chaudhary under the coordination of CAN’s central member Rishiram Gautam.
