Kathmandu: Pakistan has won the first ODI against Netherlands by 16 runs. Chasing the target of 315 runs given by the visiting team Pakistan in the match in Rotterdam.
The home team Netherlands managed to score only 298 runs after losing 8 wickets in 50 overs. Bikramjit Singh, Scott Edward and Tom Cooper played half-centuries for him.
Captain Edward remained unbeaten on 71 runs. Bikramjit and Cooper added 65 runs. Pakistan’s Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah took 3/3 wickets and Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Wasim took 1/1 wickets.
Before that, Pakistan, who batted first, scored 314 runs after losing 6 wickets in 50 overs. Usha Faqar Zaman scored a 109-run century and captain Babar Azam scored a 74-run half-century.

With the win, Pakistan took a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. The second ODI between the two countries will be held on Thursday.
