Women’s World Cup: Colombia and Morocco enter the knockout stages

Kathmandu: Colombia and Morocco are entered in last Sixteen today in the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

After the matches on Thursday, Colombia and Morocco have reached the knockout stage from Group H.

In the match held in Australia, Morocco defeated Colombia 1-0, while Germany and South Korea drew 1-1.

Colombia and Morocco have reached the round of sixteen with 6-6 points from 3 games in the group. Germany, who scored four points, was eliminated from the group stage.

The exclusion of the two-time Women’s World Cup winner Germany is considered an unexpected result in the ongoing Women’s World Cup football.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup knockout stage matches will be held from Saturday. Switzerland and Spain, Japan and Norway, Netherlands and South Africa, Sweden and America, England and Nigeria, Australia and Denmark, France and Morocco and Colombia and Jamaica will compete in the knockout stage.
