Nepal lost to Kuwait 4-1 in the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers
Kathmandu: Nepal have lost to Kuwait 4-1 at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, Kuwait in the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers on Sunday night.

Nepal lost to Kuwait 4-1 in a match played at Jabir Al Ahmed Ground in Kuwait last night. Yousef Alsulliman scored two goals for the home side.
Similarly, Fahad Alreshidi and Mubarak Alfanini scored one goal each.
Nepal’s Darshan Gurung returned a goal. This is the second consecutive defeat of Nepal.
Earlier, Nepal had lost 2-0 to Jordan in the first match. Nepal in Group A is scoreless.
With the defeat, Nepal’s chances of being selected in the Asia Cup are almost gone.
This is Kuwait’s first victory. Kuwait is in the third position with 3 points in 2 games. In the first match, Kuwait lost to Indonesia.
In the final match, Nepal will play against Indonesia on June 13.
Meanwhile, the head coach of the Nepali national football team Abdullah Almutairi, who fell unconscious during the match against Kuwait, is in normal health.
All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has stated that the health condition of head coach Almutairi is normal.
