FIFA lifts ban on India

Kathmandu: FIFA has lifted the ban imposed on the Indian Soccer Federation (AIFF). The suspension was introduced on August 15, saying {that a} third celebration was interfering within the administration of AIFF.

FIFA has written a letter and said that the ban imposed on the Indian Football Association has been lifted indefinitely.

With the lifting of the ban, the Under-17 Women’s World Cup scheduled for next October will also be held in India.

Similarly, India will now also get to play in the Women’s SAFF Championship in Nepal. On July 30, FIFA banned the AIFF saying that external forces dominated.

Last Tuesday, India wrote a letter to lift the ban with the statement that it had accepted the demand made by FIFA.
