KATHMANDU: Former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has been signed by French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for a two-year contract.
Ramos, 35, left the Spanish club after spending 16 years at Real Madrid. Ramos, who has played 671 games for Real, has won five La Liga titles and four Champions League titles. Ramos arrived at Real Madrid from Sevilla in 2005.
“I am delighted to be joining Paris Saint-Germain,” said Ramos.
“Paris welcomes one of the greatest players of our era,” said Nasir al-Khelaifi, president and chief executive of PSG.
