Gandaki Province entered the last four after defeated Province 1

Kaski: The semi-finals of men’s volleyball have been completed under the ninth national sports competition.

Gandaki Province defeated Province 1 in the last quarter-final match at the Pokhara stadium court and made it to the last four.

In a one-sided match, Gandaki defeated Province 1 in straight sets of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-13 to secure a place in the last four. With the defeat, Province 1 is out of the competition.

In another game that took place today, APF won against Lumbini Province by three-one sets.

APF won the first set 25-21 and won the second set 28-26. Lumbini won the third set 25-23. APF won 25-17 in the fourth set and confirmed their place in the last four.

The quarter-final match was postponed for some time after three consecutive APF players were injured during the match.

After the protest of the players, the mat was removed and the game was played. Although it is a national competition, volleyball is played on the old nets and mats.

Due to the old mats, the players were continuously injured due to slips.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, two semi-final matches will be played. Nepal Police Club and Tribhuvan Army Club will play in the first semi-final.

Gandaki Pradesh and APF will play in the second semi-final. The final of the competition will be held next Thursday.
