Kathmandu – Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 23 runs at Eden Gardens in Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket on Last night.
With a target of 229 runs for victory, Kolkata lost 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and made only 250 runs. Although Kolkata captain Nitish Rana scored 75 runs, he could not prevent the team from losing. Similarly, Rinku Singh remained unbeaten on 58 runs.
Marco Johnson, Mayank Markande of Hyderabad took 2 wickets. Likewise, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan and Umran Malik took one wicket each. Before that, Hyderabad lost the toss and batted first, losing 4 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs and scoring 228 runs.
