Kathmandu: Sunrisers Hyderabad lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore by 35 runs in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Chasing the target of 207 runs, Hyderabad scored 171 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Shahbaz Ahmed of Hyderabad scored the highest 40 runs in 37 balls with 1 four and 1 six. Abhishek Sharma 31, Travis Head 1, Aiden McCarram and Henrik Klaassen were dismissed for 7 runs.

Likewise, Pat Cummins was dismissed for 31 runs with 1 four and 3 sixes off 15 balls. Bangalore’s Swapnil Singh, Karan Sharma and Kyman Greenlay took 2 wickets each.

Bangalore is at the bottom with 4 points from 9 matches with 2 wins. Hyderabad is in third place with 5 wins out of 9 matches.

Rajasthan is at the top position with 14 points with 7 wins from 8 matches. Kolkata is second with 10 points from 7 matches.
