ICC T20 World Cup: Pakistan beat India for the first time

Kathmandu: Pakistan have beaten India for the first time in the ICC T20 World Cup. Pakistan reached the target of 151 runs set by India without losing a single wicket 13 balls ahead. For Pakistan, captain Babar Azam scored 68 and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan 79 runs. The two shared 152 runs.

Earlier, after losing the toss at the Dubai International Cricket Ground, India lost seven wickets in 20 overs and scored 151 runs. Captain Virat Kahli scored 57 runs for India. Similarly, wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant scored 39 runs.

On the bowling side, Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi took three wickets. Shaheen dismissed KL Rahul, Rahit Sharma and Kahli. Similarly, Hasan Ali took two wickets.

Along with this victory, Pakistan has won one of the six matches against India in the T20 World Cup.
