The match will start at 11:45 AM at the Dubai International Stadium. Today’s match is crucial to maintain their chances of finishing in the top three of League Two. The top three teams in League Two will be allowed to play in the 10-team World Cup qualifiers in Zimbabwe.

Scotland and Oman have secured their place in the World Cup qualifiers by finishing in the top two. Nepal, UAE and Namibia are competing to be third. Having played 36 matches, Namibia is in the third position with 39 points and Nepal will have to win all the remaining five matches to overtake Namibia.

If Nepal defeats UAE today, the possibility of finishing third will remain. If they lose, there is still an opportunity to maintain ODI recognition by being in the top five. Even if Nepal wins three out of the remaining five matches, it will be sure of a place in the top five.

UAE also has to win the match against Nepal to reach the third place behind Namibia. UAE is fifth with 31 points from 31 matches. From the same match, Nepal is in sixth place with 30 points. After playing 36 games, America is in fourth place with 35 points.
