India beat Ireland by 4 runs in the 2nd T20 cricket
Kathmandu: India have beaten Ireland by four runs in the second and final T20 cricket match. India have also won the series against Ireland.

Chasing the target of 226 for victory, Ireland scored 221 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Ireland captain Andrew Balberny’s 60-run half-century did not help the team win. Paul Sterling was out for 40 and Harry Tector for 39. George Dokrel (34) and Mark Adir (23) remained unbeaten.
India’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hershal Patel, Ravi Vishroy and Umran Makil took one wicket each. Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, India lost 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and scored 225 runs.
India’s Deepak Hooda scored a century of 104 runs. Hooda is the fourth Indian to score a century in T20 after Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and Lokesh Rahul.
Sanju Samson was run out for 77. Ireland’s Mark Adir took 3 wickets, Josh Little and Craig Yang took 2/2 wickets each. India had won the first match by 7 wickets.
