India beat Zimbabwe by 13 runs in the third ODI

Kathmandu: In the three-match ODI cricket series with Zimbabwe, the visiting team India has made a ‘clean sweep’. India beat Zimbabwe by 13 runs in the third ODI last night.

Chasing a target of 290 runs for victory, Zimbabwe were all out for 276 runs in 49 overs. Sikandar Raja of Zimbabwe played a century of 115 runs but could not win the team. It is his fifth century in ODI cricket. India’s Avesh Khan took 3 wickets.

Deepak Chahar, Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav took 2 wickets each. Before that, after winning the toss in Harare, India scored 289 runs losing 8 wickets in the scheduled 50 overs in Shubman Gill’s century. Gill played the highest century innings of 130 runs.

This is Gill’s first century from the senior team. Brad Evans of Zimbabwe took 5 wickets. India won the first match by 10 wickets and the second match by 5 wickets.
