Men’s Army and Women’s Police Club are started victoriously

Kathmandu – The NVA National Volleyball Club League’s Nepal Army on the men’s side and Police Club on the women’s side have started victoriously in the 7th Prime Minister’s Cup.

In the first match that took place today, police club on the women’s side defeated Gandaki Pradesh and army on the men’s side defeated Sailung Bagdhunga Sports Club in straight sets.

Police beat Gandaki 25-10, 25-10 and 25-11 in the women’s match at the National Sports Council (Rakhep) Covered Hall. On the women’s side, 6 teams including Nepal Police, Tribhuvan Army, New Diamond Sports Club, APF Club, Gandaki Pradesh and Everest Volleyball Technical Center are participating.

Similarly, in today’s first match for men, Army defeated Sailung Bagdhunga by 25-8, 25-13 and 25-17. On the men’s side, there are 7 teams including Army, Help Nepal Sports Club, APF Club, Nepal Police, Gandaki Pradesh, Davali Milan Club and Sailung Bagdhunga Sports Club.

On the men’s side, the second match of today will be between Nepal Police Club and Gandaki Province at 12 noon and the final match of today will be between APF and Dawli at 2 pm.

The tournament, organized by the Nepal Volleyball Association, will continue till June 30. This competition is supported by the National Sports Council (Rakhep).
