Khaptad Gold Cup: Manang and Friends Club playing for the title today

KATHMANDU: Manang Marsyangdi Club and Friends Club are playing for the Khaptad Gold Cup football title today.

The final match will be played at Dhangadhi Stadium at 2:30 pm. Both teams have claimed the title.

Manang’s coach Rajendra Tamang has said that he will play for the victory today.

Similarly, Manang captain Anjan Bista said that they have taken all the matches of the tournament as final and they are also preparing for the final.

Manang reached the final by defeating Himalayan Sherpa Club 4-2 on penalties in the semi-final while Friends entered the final by defeating Bagmati Youth Club 2-1.

The winner of the competition will get 2.1 million cash and the runner-up team will get 1 million cash prize.
