Kathmandu – Nepal defeated Bhutan in SAFF under-17 women’s championship football. Nepal defeated Bhutan by 5-0 in the match held yesterday in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Barsha Oli and Senu Pariyar scored 2-2 and Deepa Rokaya scored a goal in Nepal’s victory. This is Nepal’s second game in the tournament.
Nepal defeated Bhutan and added 3 points in 2 matches. In the first match on Monday, Nepal lost 4-1 to India.
In the first match, Bhutan was defeated by Bangladesh 8-1. Along with the host Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Bhutan and Russia are participating in the competition. Now Nepal will play the third match against Russia on Sunday.
Similarly, Nepal will play host Bangladesh on Tuesday next week. The top team of the tournament based on round robin will win the title.
