Kathmandu: Â Nepal has won the title of women’s T-20 series involving four countries. Nepal defeated Hong Kong by 13 runs and won the title in the final match held today.
After it rained while Nepal was batting, the match was decided based on the Duckworth Lewis method.
After winning the toss, Nepal decided to bowl first at the Air Mass Oval Cricket Ground in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.
Malaysia batted against Nepal and scored 101 runs losing 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.
Nepal entered the field with a winning target of 120 runs and after playing 5.3 overs, the match was stopped due to rain.
At that time, Nepal scored 37 runs for the loss of one wicket. Indu Burma was playing with 19 and Sita Rana Magar with 13 runs.

Nepal defeated Hong Kong by 6 wickets in the first match of the group stage and Kuwait by 34 runs in the second match. In the last match, Nepal lost to Malaysia by 6 wickets.
Likewise, Hong Kong was defeated by Nepal by 6 wickets in the first match.
He defeated Malaysia by 10 wickets in the second match and Kuwait by 16 runs in the third match.
Nepal, Hong Kong and Kuwait participated in the women’s T20 series along with host Malaysia.
Nepal has played the series as a preparation for the ICC Women’s T-20 World Cup Asia Qualifier to be held in Malaysia from August 31st.
