Nepal gives 230 runs target for UAE

Kathmandu: Nepal has given a target of 230 runs to UAE in the tri-nations ODI series under ICC World Cup Cricket League-2.

After winning the toss and batting at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Nepal made runs by losing 8 wickets in the scheduled 50 overs. While scoring 68 runs and losing 5 wickets, the middle-order batsmen played excellent batting.

Bhim Sarki scored the highest 70 runs for Nepal. Similarly, Arif Sheikh scored 43 runs, Kushal Malla scored 32 runs and Sandeep Lamichhane scored 27 runs. On the bowling side, Junaid Siddiqui took 3 wickets and Rehan Mustafa and Aryan Larka took 2 wickets each.

When Nepal made 68 runs and lost 5 wickets, Bhim Sarki and Sandeep Lamichhane shared six runs each. When Nepal scored 124 runs and lost 6 wickets, Sandeep got out after scoring 27 runs.

Bhim (54 runs) and Arif Shaikh (19 runs) are now at the crease. Till the time of preparing this news, Nepal has scored 160 runs by losing 6 wickets in 40 overs.

Middle order batsman Bhim Saraki scored first in this match. This is his first fifty in ODIs.
