Kathmandu: Nepal has lost to Thailand in FIFA International Friendly Football. Nepal lost 2-0 to Thailand in the match played in Chanburi.
Thailand scored both goals in the second half after the first half ended in a draw. Thailand scored in the 77th and 88th minutes of the match.
Before the third round match of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers, Nepal played against Thailand who are above them in the FIFA rankings.
Earlier, Thailand had won two matches against Nepal. Similarly, Nepal will play a friendly match against Thai club Chonburi FC. This match will take place on Sunday.
Nepal is in Group A of the Asian Cup Qualifiers. The group of Nepal includes Kuwait, Indonesia and Jordan. Thailand is ranked 112th and Nepal 167th in the FIFA rankings.
