Kathmandu: Nepal continued its poor performance in the second match on Thursday in the ongoing Women’s SAFF Under-18 Championship in India.

Nepal lost 4-2 to two-time defending champions Bangladesh in the match played in Jamshedpur.

This is Nepal’s second consecutive defeat. Earlier, Nepal had lost 7-0 to India in their first match. Three teams are participating in the double round robin competition and Nepal is trailing without any points.

Afida Khandkar, Aklima Khatoon, Iti Khatoon and Sahada Akhtar scored goals for Bangladesh this season. Deepa Shahi and Ameesha Karki scored for Nepal. Nepal was trailing 4-1 in the first half.
