Nepal will play against Bangladesh tomorrow

Kathmandu: Kiran Chemjong will captain the international friendly match between Nepal and Bangladesh tomorrow.

In the pre-match conference held at the All Nepal Football Association on Monday, it was informed that goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong will be the captain in the friendly match with Bangladesh.

The preparation of the Nepalese team for the match to be held at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar has been completed.

The game will be played at Dasharath Stadium on Tuesday at 5:30 PM. Kiran was present as the captain along with acting coach Pradeep Humagai in the pre-match conference held on Monday.

Kiran last captained two friendly matches against Mauritius at the Dasharath Stadium. Excited to return to the captaincy, Kiran claimed that the match against Bangladesh would be excellent.

Pradeep Humagai, who took over the training of the national team for the first time, said that it will make Dashain special by giving Nepal a happy result. Coach Humagai said that the preparation of the Nepalese team was good.

Earlier, Navayug Shrestha and Pujan Uparkoti captained the team while the senior players of the team were out of the team in the Asia Cup qualifiers. But both the players are not included in the squad for the friendly against Bangladesh.

Nepal and Bangladesh have competed 24 times in various tournaments and friendly matches.

In which Bangladesh has won 12 matches while Nepal has won only 7 matches. 5 matches have ended in a draw.
