Kathmandu: Kathmandu: The All Nepal Table Tennis Association has selected six players for the 25th Asian Table Tennis Championship to be held in Qatar.
Three male / female players have been selected from the two-day selection competition held at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lanchaur.
Among the men, Vinesh Khaniya of Nepal Police, Amar Lal Malla of Kathmandu and Santu Shrestha of Police were selected. Sanyog Kapali and Vilosh Shrestha of AVM Table Tennis Club are the alternates. Among the women, Sikka Suwal of APF, Ivana Thapa Magar of AVM and Elena Maharjan of Police were selected.
Nepal Army’s Rabina Maharjan and AVM’s Viyanka Rai are in the alternative. In the selection, the same 9-9 male / female players competed on the basis of round robin league. The competition will be held in Doha from 6 to 12 September.
