Table tennis player Alina Maharjan gets People’s Choice Award

Kathmandu: Table tennis player Alina Maharjan has won the People’s Choice Award. She has won the People’s Choice Award at the Bajaj Pulsar Sports Awards organized by the Nepal Sports Journalists Forum.

She won the award, surpassing four other contestants in polls conducted by sports journalists, coaches, likes on Facebook and Isaeva.

Along with Alina, Santoshi Shrestha of Athletics, Angela Tumbapo Subba of Football, Kushal Bhurtel of Cricket and Prince Dahal of Badminton were nominated in this category.

Angela came in second and Kushal third with votes from sports journalists, coaches, likes on Facebook and Isaeva.
