Kathmandu: The Nepali U-23 football team lost to Indonesia 2-0 in a friendly match.

Nepal, which is preparing for the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, lost to Indonesia U-23 in a friendly match on Friday.

After a goalless draw in the first half, Nepal scored early in the second half. Indonesia scored in the 55th minute. Similarly, Indonesia scored another goal during the injury time of the game.

Nepal is in Group B of the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup qualifiers. Nepal’s group includes Tajikistan, Lebanon and Iran.

Nepal will play Iran in the first match of the group stage next Monday. The second match will be played against Tajikistan on Thursday and the last match will be played against Lebanon on April 30.
