Proposal to hold Women’s SAAF Championship in Nepal

Kathmandu: A team led by Kiran Rai, General Secretary of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has reached Dhaka, Bangladesh and met the General Secretary of SAAF.

The team met SAAF Secretary General Anwarul Haq Hell at the South Asian Football Federation (SAAF) headquarters in Dhaka.

During the meeting, ANFA General Secretary Rai has proposed to hold the Women’s Clean Championship in Nepal from August 29 to September 10, i.e. from September 13 to 25.

According to ANFA, the SAAF Secretary General is positive about Nepal’s proposal and further discussions will be held in the SAAF Congress.

The team led by Rai includes ANFA Executive Committee member Vikas Narayan Shrestha and New Road Team (NRT) Chairman Sundar Narasimha Joshi.
