Kathmandu: The 2022 Asian Women’s Cup, scheduled to be held in Indonesia and Uzbekistan, has been canceled.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has canceled the Women’s Under-17 Asian Cup in Indonesia and the AFC Women’s Under-20 Cup in Uzbekistan in 2022. The AFC working committee meeting decided not to hold both competitions due to health risks.

Now both competitions will be held in 2024. Similarly, AFC Futsal Asian Cup selection competition has been shifted. The selection competition scheduled for October has been postponed. The selection game was scheduled to be held from October 13 to 24. The selection competition will now be held from April 1 to 15, 2022.
