Kathmandu: Twenty-five players have been selected for the Nepali national football team.

According to ANFA, head coach Abdullah Almutairi on Tuesday selected 25 players excluding Abhishek Rijal, Arpan Karki and Shishir Lekhi.

The Nepali team, which is preparing for the SAAF Championship and a friendly match against India, is currently undergoing closed training in Pokhara.

Nepal is playing two friendly matches at Dasharath Stadium on September 3 and 4. A similar clean championship is being held in Maldives from September 30.
