Kathmandu: The Nepali national cricket team has returned home after participating in the 19th Asian Games held in China.

The Nepali cricket team, which lost to India in the quarterfinals, returned home today on Thursday. Talking to the media after returning home, Rohit Kumar Paudel, the captain of the Nepali National Cricket Team, responded that the match was good even though the result was not as expected.

He said that he had to lose to India due to weakness in fielding in the last over.

Captain Paidel said that the team was very happy when the world record was set. He believes that it will be easier to play against strong countries in the future and practice more.

Similarly, all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airi responded that he was very happy to break the record. He said that now the team is playing together.

Airi says that he will do better in the coming days as he got a chance to gain experience in the Asian Games.

The Nepalese cricket team, which participated in the competition and returned to the country, was welcomed at the Tribhuvan International Airport with band instruments.

INepal lost to India by 23 runs in the quarter-finals, but Nepal defeated Mongolia in the first match and Maldives in the second match by a wide margin in the Asian Games,.
