2nd day’s T20: Bangladesh defeated Australia by 5 wickets

KATHMANDU: Bangladesh defeated Australia by five wickets in the second T20 cricket match. In the match played in Dhaka, Bangladesh defeated Australia by 5 wickets.

Bangladesh met the target of 122 runs set by Australia by losing only 5 wickets in 18 overs. Afif Hossain scored 37, Nurul Hossain 22, Shakib Al Hasan 26 and Mehdi Hasan 23 in Bangladesh’s victory.

Australia’s Mitchell Marsh, Jose Hazlewood, Aston Agar, Adam Jampa and Andrew Telle took one wicket each. Earlier, batting first, Australia lost 7 wickets in 20 overs and scored 121 runs.

Mitchell Marsh scored 45 for Australia, while Moises Henriques scored 30 and Mitchell Starc 13 not out. Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman took 3 wickets and Shoriful Islam took 2 wickets. With the win, Bangladesh has taken a 2-0 lead in the five-match series against Australia.

In the first match, Australia also lost to Bangladesh. In the first match, Bangladesh defeated Australia by 23 runs.
