KATHMANDU: A former winner of premier league’s club Chelsea entered the quarterfinal after beating the French Ligue One Club’s Lilli on Thursday’s Morning match.
In the second leg of the pre-quarterfinal last night, Chelsea reversed the situation by one goal behind the home team Lille and won 2-1.
Christian Police and Cesar Azpilicueta scored one goal each in Chelsea’s victory. Burak Yilmaz of Lille returned a goal. Chelsea lost 2-0 in the first leg. Chelsea reached the last eight with a 4–1 victory overall.
