Kathmandu: Pakistan’s Danish Aziz will play for the Chitwan Tigers next season in the Everest Premier League (EPL). Aziz Chitwan is the first foreign player to be announced for the EPL to be held at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur from September 25.
“We are excited to bring in Danis as a foreign player for the new season’s EPL. His big hitting and finishing ability will give a new dimension to our young batting lineup, ”said Vinita Chaudhary, Operations Director, Chitwan Tigers.
The Nepal Cricket Association (NCA) has approved the hosting date of EPL 2021 recognized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and is ready to host the biggest sporting event in Nepal.
The stylish young left-handed batsman made his ODI and Twenty20 international debut against Pakistan this year against South Africa and Zimbabwe respectively.
