England’s clean sweep in the ODI series against Pakistan

KATHMANDU: England have swept a three-match ODI series against Pakistan. England swept Pakistan by 3 wickets in the third and final match. Chasing a target of 332 for victory, England found themselves at a loss of seven wickets in 48 overs.

England’s James Vince scored a century of 102 runs. Louis Gregory contributed 77 runs. Pakistan’s Haris Rauf took 4 wickets. Shadab Khan took two wickets and Hasan Ali took one. Batting first after losing the toss in Birmingham, Pakistan lost nine wickets in 50 overs and scored 331 runs.

Babar Azam played a century innings of 158 runs but could not win the team. Imam-ul-Haq added 56 runs. England’s Bryden Cross took 5 wickets. Shakib Mohammad took 3 wickets.

Pakistan lost the first match by 18 runs and the second match by 52 runs. There will also be a three-match Twenty20 series between Pakistan and England from Friday.
